this is a 6"x 6" painting on a little block of wood. thanks for the gesso job, 'Legra.

it's acrylic. i did an underpainting of bright red acrylic first, then went overtop. i learned about that method of getting started from reading an article on Ed Sandoval (an artist i highly recommend you check out).
